SubbieSnap

For firms

Find subbies who turn up

Post a job, see who's free in the right trade near the site, check their cards and their record, and hire. No agency in the middle, and no fee for hiring.

From post to start day

Post in minutes

Trade, how many people, the area, the start date, the rate and when you pay. Post from your phone on site or from a computer in the office. Matching subbies nearby hear about it straight away.

Search who's free

Find subbies and gangs by trade, distance, when they're free and their rating, then invite them to apply. People who aren't looking are left out.

Check before you hire

See reviews from other firms and each subbie's record of turning up. Shortlist them to see their cards, insurance and ID, and to chat about the job.

Hire with an offer

Send an offer with the rate and start date. Once they accept, you swap numbers and they get the site address. Everyone else who applied is told it's filled.

Know who's coming

The day before the start, each subbie confirms they're still on with one tap, and you see who's confirmed.

Keep your best people

Save the subbies you rate, and invite them first next time you've got work in their trade.

Hire a whole gang

Posts with several places can go to individuals, a gang or a mix. You deal with the ganger, and see every member's cards and record.

  • Search for gangs as well as individuals
  • One review covers everyone who went, and you can add a note about one person
  • Mark one person as a no-show without marking down the rest

Your firm's record

Good subbies pick the firms they work for. Your profile shows them why it should be you.

  • Your company checked at Companies House, shown on your profile
  • How often you pay on time, from subbies' pay-day checks
  • Reviews of how the site was run, the communication and how people were treated, with a reply to each
  • Cancelling a hire at the last minute goes on your record, so subbies know you keep your word

Your first posts are free

Firms get free job posts when they join. After that, buy packs of posts on the website when you need them, or take a monthly or yearly plan if you hire often. Posts don't run out, and drafts are free.

The price will never depend on who you hire, and SubbieSnap never takes a cut of anyone's pay. You pay subbies directly, as you do now.
